Meghalaya Budget Session from Feb 28 to March 13

The session will consist of both Government and Private Members' Business, with three days allocated for Private Members' Business.

The Budget session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly is set to commence on February 28 and will continue for 10 working days until March 13.

The schedule was finalised during the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting held on Thursday.

Speaker Thomas A. Sangma confirmed that Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma will present the state budget for the financial year 2024-25 on March 5.

The session will consist of both Government and Private Members’ Business, with three days allocated for Private Members’ Business and the remaining seven days dedicated to Government Business.
