The Achik Holistic Awakening Movement (AHAM) from Kharkutta in North Garo Hills has submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma urging him to look into the repair of various roads in the district. According to the organization, the deplorable condition of the various roads has mostly affected the student community and the businessmen from the area. Some of the deplorable roads mentioned by the organization in the memorandum included the Kharkutta Bazar PWD road, Kharkutta Rewansing to Block road, Megam A’kong road, Baghabatta bazaar to Do’singkol road, Lower Rongbu and Kentra PWD road etc.
