21-year-old Kawi-maning-siliu from Peren district was crowned Miss Nagaland 2021 during a ceremony held at the Regional Centre of Excellence for Music and Performing Arts in Kohima on Monday.
She also won the sub-title ‘Queen of Hearts.’
She aims to work with underprivileged children who have not been fortunate to get the privilege of education.
She said, she wants to contribute to society by educating the less fortunate children.
Lika Chophy from Zunheboto and Lovi Awomi from Dimapur were crowned the first and second runners up respectively.

Miss Nagaland won a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh besides becoming the brand ambassador of Task Force for Music and Arts, and will also receive an allowance for a year.
Altogether there were five panels of judges namely Dr. Andrew Ahoto, Moalong Yaden, Sentienla Pongen Ezung and two guest judge for the pageant from Femina Miss India Manipur Maria Chanu Pangambam and Miss Sikkim 2021 Pranita Chetri.
The official designer was Alemzungla Ozukum and the official choreographer was Theja Sekhose.
The event was organised by the Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland.
The event also marked the 30th anniversary of the BASN.
The pageant earlier scheduled for December 10 was later postponed in a show of solidarity with the Mon victims killed on December 4.
The participants of the pagent had taken to social media to protest against the killings.
