Mass Burial: 87 Manipur violence victims laid to rest in Churachandpur

As many as 87 bodies of violence victims are being laid to rest at a mass burial ceremony at Peace Ground in Churachandpur today. 41 bodies were flown in from Morgues of Imphal last week while 46 bodies were lying in Churachandpur. The solemn occasion is being marked by a speech from convenor Zo United Albert Renthlei besides a condolence message from Rev. Dr. S. Vungminthang, President Goodwill Council. Songs of condolence from Blessed choir, Joint Artist Associations including Chorals are also being performed.
