Amid the row in Nagaland in wake of SAPO’s diktat banning movement and entry of Mao people in Southern Angami areas of Nagaland, around 60 Mao people arrived in Imphal on a special flight today. The special flight to Imphal from Dimapur was arranged by the Manipur Government to evacuate the stranded people after the Southern Angami People’s Organisation or SAPO and Southern Angami Youth Organisation banned entry and travel of Mao people in their jurisdictions since December 15.
