Massive protests were witnessed in Manipur capital Imphal yesterday evening as scores of women came out to protest. Led by members of local Meira Paibis, a torchlight protest was held in Imphal East protesting against the recent round of alleged drone attacks that happened in the periphery areas between the valley and hills. Scores of women were seen carrying torchlights and placards as they marched through the streets of Imphal demanding strong action against those responsible for the alleged drone attacks.
