Manipur War On Drugs: Brown sugar worth Rs 6.3 cr seized, 1 held

The seizure was made during a routine frisking and checking operation at TCP.
Continuing the war on drugs in Manipur, Police on Saturday, arrested a drug peddler and seized brown sugar worth over rupees 6 crores from Tengnoupal Police check post.
The seizure was made during a routine frisking and checking operation at TCP.
The Police team recovered 73 Soap Cases of Brown Sugar concealed inside a Car.
The drugs were weighted at 3 kilograms and estimated to be worth over rupees 6.39 Crores in the International Market.
Along with the seized brown Sugar and the Car used in carrying the drugs, the driver has been arrested.
The driver has been identified as Khaijang Baite from Moreh.
