Manipur: Tension in Uyok Hills as Villagers Clash with Security Forces
Tensions erupted once again at Uyok Hills today, as women from various villages in Kangpokpi Hills attempted to push back the joint security forces, including BSF and CRPF. The incident follows the successful occupation of a series of bunkers by joint security forces. Led by the Army, CRPF, and BSF, the forces had successfully captured bunkers used by armed men who had been attacking the villages of Sana Sabi, Thamnapokpi, and Yaingangpokpi.
