Manipur: Suspected militants ambush on security forces ahead of Rahul’s visit to Jiribam Security situation in Jiribam has deteriorated ahead of Congress Leader, Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the border town today. Security forces came under attack from armed miscreants early in the morning at Golathan. According to visuals from the incident security forces can be seen engaging in retaliatory firing as the Bullet Proof Casper they were travelling in came under fire. Bulletholes can be also seen on the vehicles. Meanwhile, in view of Rahul’s visit, Security Forces are keeping strict vigil in the area.
