Manipur: Senapati Students Run for Peace

The Marathon started from Karong Bridge till Traffic Point, Senapati
Students came out in large numbers in Senapati district of Manipur to participate in the Run for Peace in Manipur Marathon on Thursday.
The event was organised by the Senapati District Students Association (SDSA) as a curtain raiser to the Senapati District Inter-School Sports Meet, 2024 slated to begin from August 3 to 7.
The marathon started from Karong Bridge till Traffic Point, Senapati.
President of the Senapati District Students Association (SDSA), Yunuo Peter stated that everyone are hoping for state-wide peace.
The student leaders appealed for peace and tranquility in the state that has seen violence since May 3 last year.
Senapati Deputy Commissioner, Mamoni Doley also participated in the marathon and congratulated all the winners of the day.
Doley too appealed for peace and unity among the people of Senapati.
