Manipur: Mother of fashion designer found murdered

In a sensational incident, Manipur’s renowned fashion designer Robert Naorem’s mother Thokchom Rekha Devi was found bludgeoned to death at her residence in Singjamei Thockom Leikai in Imphal West district on Wednesday.

The incident came to light after Samananda, Robert Naorem’s colleague who lived in their house had came back home after dropping Robert at the airport this afternoon and found the body lying at the ground floor of the house.

A team of police and a forensic expert team arrived at the crime spot for further investigation into the case. The forensic team suggests that the deceased may have been hit by a pointed tool. The body has been taken for autopsy at RIMS Morgue.

Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased suspect two construction workers who are currently renovating a room in their house to be involved in the murder.
