A team of bomb disposal squad from Manipur’s Imphal successfully disposed off a 51 inch para mortar bomb recovered from Churachandpur on Monday.
As per reports, villagers from Tuinom village in Churachandpur, found the bomb while out in the jungle searching for mushrooms.
The villagers then informed the Churachandpur police following which a Bomb disposal squad from Imphal, detonated the bomb at the Khuga Dam waste site along with the district Police team.
