In another incident, a huge cache of automatic weapons and other warlike stores was recovered by 5 JAK RIF of Assam Rifles in a joint operation with Bishnupur Commandos.
Based on input from sources, a search operation was launched and weapons were recovered from Pat area of Ishok Makha Leikai at Bishnupur district in Manipur.
The recovery included two M 16 Rifles, four AK-56 Rifles and one A4 Rifle along with Underbarrel Grenade Launchers or UBGL.
