In a shocking case of domestic violence from Manipur, a 42-year-old man stabbed his two minor children to death, attacked his wife and then tried to kill himself by slashing his throat.
The incident was reported from Changangei Maning Leikai under Imphal West district on Saturday.
The man Chingtham Surjitkumar is currently undergoing medical treatment at RIMS Hospital and is said to be in a critical condition.
Meanwhile his wife, Abesana is undergoing treatment at Raj Medicity in North AOC, Imphal.

As per reports, the incident came to light when the wife came out running from her house screaming that Surjitkumar has killed their two children and she has been stabbed.
People nearby tried to open Surjitkumar’s room, however, it was found locked from inside. Following which, the crowd forcefully knocked down the door.
The Couple’s 4-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter were found dead with visible stabbed marks on their bodies inside the room, while Surjitkumar was found lying on the floor, with stabbed wounds on his throat.
Meanwhile, officials from Lamphel Police Station are investigating the case.
