With the Civil Society Organisations in Manipur threatening to launch intensified agitation in the wake of developments surrounding the Naga Peace Talks, the Manipur Police has swung into action.

The Imphal West Police has cancelled all leaves of police officials, including women police officials, Village defence force and home guards in order to tackle any situation.

There has been rising tension in Manipur in the wake of rising apprehensions surrounding the Naga Peace talks.
