A day after the Manipur High Court directed the State Government to send a recommendation for inclusion of the Meitei community in the Scheduled Tribe list of India, the Hills Area Committee of the Manipur Legislative Assembly, has taken a resolution to urge the State Government as well as the Center to appeal against the Manipur High Court Order, taking into account the sentiments, interest and rights of the Schedule tribes of Manipur.
