The dedication and sincerity of a young 10-year old girl from Manipur’s Tamenglong district has won the hearts of netizens across the region, even catching the attention of Manipur Cabinet Minister Th. Biswajit Singh.
Soon after a heart touching photo of young Meiningsinliu Pamei, babysitting her younger sister while attending school went viral on the internet, Manipur Minister Th. Biswajit Singh traced the girl and applauded on her dedication.
Minister Biswajit Singh made a personal call to a relative of Maningsiliu and asked the relative to bring the girl to Imphal. He also assured that he will personally take care of her education till she graduates.
Earlier on Saturday, the photo of 10-year-old Meiningsinliu Pamei, attending the Dailong primary school in Tamenglong, while babysitting her sister went viral on the internet. She had to take care of her baby sister as their parents were out in the fields working in the farms.
Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh has also extended his helping hand. A team of Childline Service Tamenglong (CLST) has visited the family of the young girl to help her and her family under the Integrated Child Protection Scheme. The team too gave the family some rations including rice, dal, potatoes, oil, etc.
Manipur CM appreciated Th Biswajit’s reaching out to the family and extending the needy family assistance.
