Manipur entrepreneurs facing financial difficulties due to over one-year-long violence, seeks help form Governor

The Governor assured them of possible support from Raj Bhavan and advised them to seek help from Chief Minister N Biren Singh.

A delegation of entrepreneurs led by N. Irabanta Singh, Chairman of UNACCO School, along with Dr. Kh. Palin and eight others met Governor Anusuiya Uikey yesterday and apprised her about the difficulties the business community has been facing in loan repayment due to 14 months of the crisis in the state.

They submitted a memorandum highlighting their issues due to ongoing turmoil and sought support for the entrepreneurs of the state.

Besides, they also shared the severe impact the violence has on businesses and said that the pressure has been unbearable.

The Governor assured them of all possible support from Raj Bhavan and advised them to seek help from Chief Minister N Biren Singh, who is also the Finance Minister.
