Manipur Electricity Employees’ Union stage protest demanding 7th pay

The Manipur Electricity Employees’ Union on Friday staged a sit-in demonstration at the corporate office of Manipur State Power Corporation Limited located at Nityaipat Chuthek, demanding implementation of 7th revision

The Manipur Electricity Employees’ Union on Friday staged a sit-in demonstration at the corporate office of Manipur State Power Corporation Limited located at Nityaipat Chuthek, demanding implementation of 7th revision of payment.

Besides this, the employees union has also demanded regular salary for the employees, including social security schemes, 13-month pay and other essential services.

The union has also threatened to back off from work if the state government fails to pay heed to their demands.

Meanwhile, the employees’ union will also call on chief minister N Biren Singh and state power minister to discuss on the issue.
