#Manipur | In a major breakthrough for security forces in Manipur, contraband worth Rupees 21 lakhs in the international market has been recovered. The 20 Assam Rifles during their routine operation at Vehicle Check Post Khudengthabi on Friday recovered as many as 9 soap cases of suspected brown sugar concealed inside the dash board of a vehicle. On further questioning, the driver of the EECO vehicle identified as Jangngam Guite revealed that the contraband was being transferred from Moreh to Pallel. The recovered contraband along with the individual have been handed over to Moreh Police for further investigation.
