Manipur Cabinet expansion: 6 MLAs to be sworn in as ministers today
The BJP-led government in Manipur is all set for another expansion, with 6 more ministers likely to take oath today, thereby filling up the 12 ministerial posts in the government.
The BJP-led government in Manipur is all set for another expansion, with 6 more ministers likely to take oath today, thereby filling up the 12 ministerial posts in the government.
As per sources, following instructions from the national leaders to fill up the 6 remaining ministerial posts in the state BJP government, preparations have been made for the ministry expansion and swearing in of the remaining ministers.

Sources conveyed that at least two ministers are likely to be sworn in from Imphal West, one each from Bishnupur and Tengnoupal districts, one from Ukhrul and one from Imphal East.
According to reports, the MLAs in the race for the ministerial posts are H. Dingo, Letpao Haokip, Dr. S. Ranjan, Th Basanta, and L Susindro, all from the BJP, and Khasim Vashum from NPF,
If sources are to be believed, with the addition of these 6 ministers, the NPF will have two ministers in the Biren Singh led Manipur government.
