Manipur Cabinet Approves Jobs to National Games Medalists, DSP Post to Arjuna Awardee Naorem Roshibina

Cabinet decided to offer a special consideration to Arjuna Awardee Naorem Roshibina, granting her the post of DSP (Sports).
The Manipur Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister N Biren Singh, met yesterday evening and approved several significant decisions. One of the key approvals was the allocation of government jobs to medalists of previous National Games. This decision comes after protests from athletes heading to the ongoing National Games, who had demanded that the state fulfill its promise of providing jobs to past medalists.
In addition, the Cabinet decided to offer a special consideration to Arjuna Awardee Naorem Roshibina, granting her the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Sports). The Cabinet also approved various employee reassignments and other administrative adjustments.
Another decision was the approval of the Governor’s address, which will be delivered during the 7th session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly, scheduled to begin on February 10.
