At a time when farmers’ concerns have been making headlines all across the nation, the Centre promising to double income of farmers through its policies, and Manipur Assembly Election dates drawing close team Northeast Live travelled to Khoijuman Village in Bishnupur district for a ground report.
Cultivation is the mainstay for the local people of Khoijuman which is around 30 kms from state capital Imphal.
Northeast Live interacted with the farming community there to know about their concerns and aspirations.
Well shortage of urea has been a concern among farmers in the state. The farming community in Khoijuman Village too had similar complaints.
Their expectation from the political class is availability of urea in government rate.
