The All Tribal Student Union Manipur or ATSUM has lashed out at the State government for manipulating the tribal populace of the state by introducing ‘Vested interest individual bills’ eliminating the important word ‘Autonomous’. Situation continues to be tense in Manipur’s hill districts with ATSUM calling an emergency shutdown of the hill areas following the detention of its president, general secretary and some executive members by the police.
