In a shocking incident, Arunachal Pradesh police on Wednesday arrested a 22-year-old man after he walked to the police station with the severed head of his friend.

The gruesome incident took place at the Ruksin area in Arunachal Pradesh’s East Siang district bordering Assam.

The killer, identified as Shibu Baishya (22), chopped off the head of the victim, identified as Ajay Das (18).

As per inputs, the accused took the victim to a paddy field near the National Highway 515 at around 12 pm where he attacked the victim with a sharp weapon before decapitating the body.

The accused later walked to the Ruksin police station and surrendered before the police.

The exact reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
