LS Polls 2024: NPF’s Outer Manipur candidate KT Zimik kicks off campaigning

Manipur minister and state NPF president Awangbow Newmai assured that his party will work for the welfare of the people.
Naga People’s Front candidate for the Outer Manipur Lok Sabha seat, Kachui Timothy Zimik on Thursday kicked off his campaign for the upcoming elections.
KT Zimik kicked off his electoral campaigning from the New Canaan Village in Ukhrul district.
The NPF has become the first party to kick off election campaigning in Manipur for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
While addressing the gathering, Zimik appealed to all the people to support him and let him be the voice of the state. He also mentioned that it will be the first time for NPF to get support from BJP Central Leaders, NPP and other political parties.
“The Naga peace talks are between the government of India and Naga leaders. They are trying to hammer out what is best for everybody. Our party stands for equality. We will serve the interest respecting the sentiments of everyone”, Zimik added.
Manipur minister and state NPF president Awangbow Newmai also assured that his party will work for the welfare of the people.
The campaign kick-off ceremony was attended by NPF’s allies, the BJP and the NPP.
The inaugural campaign was attended by ministers and MLAs of the BJP led Manipur government, along with scores of supporters.
