It is said everything is fair in love and war. In an interesting turn of events, a teacher in Rajasthan underwent gender change surgery to become a guy, all for the purpose of marrying a student she loved.

Meera, the physical education teacher in Bharatpur, who is now known as Aarav Kuntal married his student Kalpana Fouzdar recently.

Taking to media Aarav Kuntal said, “Everything is fair in love and that is why I changed my gender.”

In the school’s physical education classes, Meera met Kalpana for the first time.

“I’ve always wanted to get gender-transfer surgery. My first surgery was in December of this year “Aarav Kuntal, a teacher who gender-transferred, said.

Kalpana, who loves Aarav just as much, added, “I have always loved him. I would have gotten married to him even if he hadn’t undergone the surgery. I went along with him for the surgery.”

All of this began in 2016 when Meera (Aarav) and Kalpana became friends.
For two years, they remained best friends.

In 2018, Meera proposed to Kalpana for marriage and the rest is history.

These two girls’ families opposed of same-gender marriages when they declared their love for one another.

Then Meera made the decision to undergo gender change so she could marry her love Kalpana.
