The world’s largest polling exercise to elect the 18th Lok Sabha ends on Saturday after one and a half months, with 57 Lok Sabha constituencies going to the polls in the seventh and final phase. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among the 906 candidates in the fray in this phase,
Polling will be completed at one go in all 13 seats in Punjab and all four seats in Himachal Pradesh. The other states that will vote are Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal – where polling was held across all seven phases – and Jharkhand and Odisha, where Assembly polls are also being held simultaneously.
The constituencies polling in Bihar are – Nalanda, Patna Sahib, Pataliputra, Arrah, Buxar, Sasaram, Karakat, Jahanabad
In Himachal Pradesh they are Kangra, Mandi, Hamirpur, Shimla
In Jharkhand they are Rajmahal, Dumka, Godda
In Odisha, they are Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur
In Punjab, they are Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Khadoor Sahib, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Anandpur Sahib, Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib, Faridkot, Firozpur, Bathinda, Sangrur, Patiala
In Uttar Pradesh, they are Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushi Nagar, Deoria, Bansgaon, Ghosi, Salempur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Robertsganj
In West Bengal, they are Dum Dum, Barasat, Basirhat, Jaynagar, Mathurapur, Diamond Harbour, Jadavpur, Kolkata Dakshin, Kolkata Uttar
