Incessant rains continue to create havoc across the region. An incident of landslide has been reported from Sichey in East Sikkim.
While no loss of life has been reported, senior district administration officials including the deputy commissioner inspected the area in presence of the local MLA.
Necessary precautions were taken and residents of the adjacent buildings were shifted from the area. Meanwhile, an inspection will be held tomorrow besides a meeting with all concerned departments.
