A melodious and electrifying performance by Sonu Nigam enticed a huge crowd in Agartala on December 23.

People enjoyed the first-ever drone show in the state, in which 250 illuminated drones, in a synchronised manner like stars, made various constellations in the sky.

The mega cultural programme came up as a part of the Khelo Tripura, Sustho Tripura campaign against drug abuse. The mega event was held at the Swami Vivekananda ground on Friday with the initiative of the Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) department.

The Khelo Tripura, Sustho Tripura campaign was launched with the aim of encouraging youths in the state to take up sports and cultural activities for entertainment and to generate awareness against the drug menace.

Various sports items were distributed among 1,500 clubs.

Under the initiative, several sports and cultural events were held across the State. The programme started with a colourful rally in the afternoon, followed by an array of cultural programmes.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha was present at the mega cultural programme.
