In a bid to assess the progress of the ongoing construction of the Khamrang to Sihhmui rail route, Lok Sabha MP C Lalrosanga today visited the construction site of the rail project in Mizoram.

Lok Sabha MP C Lalrosanga said that soon after the completion of the rail line from Khamrang to Sihhmui, there will be work on the extension of the railway line to South Mizoram.

While the initial plan was to complete the construction work by March 2024, the Northern Frontier Railway has now decided to complete the project by December 2023.
