In a significant development, the rhino which was injured after it collided with a speeding truck in Assam’s Kaziranga has been traced.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter and shared the drone footage of the rhino that shows the pachyderm venturing in a wetland.
According to the Chief Minister’s Tweet the rhino is doing good. Apart from this, Chief Minister Sarma also urged everyone to be cautious while passing through the animal corridors of the National Highway falling under the Kaziranga National Park.
The rhino had collided with the truck at Haldibari.
