While speaking to the media, the forest officer informed that the department has collected Rs 7.20 crore as revenue in the 2024-25 tourism year.

Renowned for its one-horned rhinoceros, Kaziranga National Park is now a global favorite, with innovative tourism initiatives drawing travelers from all over.

The 1,300 square kilometer park is the largest home of the prized one-horned rhinos (2,613 as per 2022 Census) and has been the major attraction. But promotion of several other attractions in the park has increased the tourist inflow in the past few years.

A hub for adventure seekers and nature lovers, KNP now offers bird watching, trekking, cycling, and mesmerizing dolphin sightings in the Brahmaputra. These activities have added a layer of excitement to its traditional jeep and elephant safaris, which take visitors deep into the park’s lush terrain, home to tigers, elephants, swamp deer, and a dazzling variety of bird species.
