Justice BP Katakey Seeks Clarifications on Aerial Survey Report for Coal Dumps Across 4 States in Meghalaya

Justice (retd) BP Katakey, heading the Meghalaya High Court-appointed committee, has sought clarifications on an aerial survey report examining coal dumps across four districts. The survey, conducted within a one-kilometer radius of identified coal sites, aims to determine whether additional, unaccounted coal exists beyond the inventorized stock. Submitted on March 19, the report was reviewed in a recent meeting, but further details have been requested.
