As the demand for removal of Manipur University Vice-Chancellor grows louder, the Joint Colleges Students’ Forum has shut down a number of colleges affiliated to the University starting from today
As the demand for removal of Manipur University Vice-Chancellor grows louder, the Joint Colleges Students’ Forum has shut down a number of colleges affiliated to the University starting from today until the crisis at the university resolves.
The Forum said that it has decided to shut down all colleges as the crisis in Manipur University is not resolved.
Joint Colleges Students’ Forum Convenor Arabam Vikash said that as the authorities have failed to respond to their demands they are left with no choice but to shut down the colleges.
Meanwhile, the relay hunger strike jointly organised by the Manipur University Students’ Union, Manipur University Teachers’ Association and Manipur University Staff Association has entered its 4th day today.
