JAC Extends Support to ST Status Committee, Gen Secy to Meet Sikkim CM Soon

The Joint Action Committee for Tribal Status has extended full support to the High-Level Committee formed by the Sikkim Government to address the issue of granting tribal status to 12 left-out communities. Speaking exclusively to Northeast Live, JAC General Secretary, Mani Kumar Pradhan, welcomed the move and announced that the committee will meet with Sikkim Chief Minister PS Tamang within the next 10 days.
