Is Assam Becoming the New Jamtara? 31 Cyber Frauds Arrested in 2 Months

Till recently we were talking about Jamtara in Jharkhand as India’s cybercrime hotspot, as a gang of cyber criminals were pocketing uptoRs 1.5 lakh everyday through credit card frauds. But now Assamseems to be fast becoming the nerve centre of online crime. Today Assam Police busted a gang of cyber criminals who were operating from Guwahati as their base. This has taken the total number of cyber crime arrests in Assam so far to 31.
