Inquiry ordered into the Dullongmukh incident

Confirming the incident the PRO Defence wing said that one person sustained shrapnel injuries during a routine training mission involving armament delivery by SU-30 Aircraft at Dullongmukh in Assam-Arunachal border.

Claiming that the bombs fell in designated range, the release said a court of inquiry has been ordered to ascertain what it called tactical and technical reasons behind the incident.

A court of inquiry has been ordered into the Dullongmukh incident where an elderly villager received shrapnel injuries following IAF bombing in the area.
