Indian Student Dies on His Birthday, Accidently Shoots Himself at His Atlanta Home

A 23-year-old Indian student, Aryan Reddy, tragically died on November 13 after accidentally shooting himself with a hunting gun while celebrating his birthday at his home in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to a report by NDTV, the incident occurred when Aryan, a second-year Master of Science student at Kansas State University in Atlanta, brought out his newly purchased hunting gun during the celebration to clean it. While handling the firearm, it misfired, and a bullet struck his chest.

Hearing the gunshot, his friends, who were in another room, rushed in to find Aryan lying in a pool of blood. They immediately transported him to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Aryan hailed from Peddarao Palli village in Telangana’s Bhuvanagiri district, though his family now resides in Uppal. The victim’s body is set to be flown back to his hometown later tonight, as confirmed by officials.

This heartbreaking incident has left both his family and friends in deep shock.
