An FIR has been filed against an Indian-origin man, Uday Reddy, who is a professor in the United Kingdom, for allegedly inciting violence and communities in ethnic crisis-hit Manipur through social media. The FIR against Reddy, a Computer Science professor at the University of Birmingham was registered at a police station in Imphal East on the basis of a complaint filed by a local resident.
