Indian Army at Assam’s Misamari Army station celebrated Independence Day

The army troopers hoisted the national flag at the Army Public School in Misamari in presence of the students.
In line with the 76th Independence Day celebrations today, the Northeast Live crew had the privilege and honor to celebrate the grand occasion with the Indian Army troopers at Misamari Army station.
Northeast Live visited the Misamari Army Station in the Sonitpur district of Assam where multiple events were organized to celebrate Independence day. It began with a cultural event where the army troopers showcased their various performing talents.
The army troopers hoisted the national flag at the Army Public School in Misamari in presence of the students.
And as part of the Independence Day celebrations, a walkathon was also organized at the Misamari Army Station early morning today. The 3 kilometer-walkathon was flagged off by Brigadier Rahul Machral.
The walkathon started from Misamari Army Station stadium and culminated at the same point after traversing a distance of 3 kilometers.
The walkathon was participated by army personnel, officers, and their family members.
