Commuters are facing tough time to reach their destination with private transport service buses keeping off the roads as the nationwide strike called by the All India Motor Transport Congress which is supported by other transport organizations entered its second day today.

The indefinite strike has been called to protest against the constant increase in diesel prices, uncontrollable toll expenses, GST compliance issues among others. The strike is also likely to affect supply of essential items. Meanwhile, impact of the strike was also witnessed in Guwahati.
