Lenain gifted CM Khandu a copy of 'To France in India', a book that showcases the beauty of both countries with powerful photographs
French Ambassador Emmanuel Lenain was accorded a warm, traditional welcome by Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister during his visit to Tawang today.
The Ambassador got a glimpse of the rich and colourful tradition and culture of Arunachal that left him mesmerized, happy and full of praise about the beauty, rich culture and traditions of Arunachal and its huge potential.
The Ambassador took to Twitter and wrote, “Many thanks CM @PemaKhanduBJP for your warm welcome. I leave #ArunachalPradesh impressed by its rich traditions, seduced by its raw beauty and convinced of its impressive potential!”
During the visit, Lenain gifted CM Khandu a copy of ‘To France in India’, a book that showcases the beauty of both countries with powerful photographs. The book is a collaborative effort between the French Ambassador and veteran photographer Raghu Rai.
Taking to Twitter, CM Khandu wrote, “A warm welcome accorded to French Ambassador His Excellency @E_Lenain on his arrival to Tawang. The grandeur of the traditional dances of Arunachal Pradesh marked the occasion. Glad to have received a copy of ‘To France in India’ from French Ambassador His Excellency Emmanuel Lenain.
The book celebrates the beauty of two great countries with powerful photographs. A great work indeed by His Excellency Lenain and veteran photographer Shri Raghu Rai ji.”
