Traders in Dimapur have been pushed to the edge by the alleged rampant collection of illegal funds by several underground groups who are charging a number of taxes from the business community.
In fact, the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry has said it is totally aghast with the uncontrolled tax collection.
The DCCI appealed to the state government to step in and provide relief to the business community.
It expressed concern that if action is not taken immediately, traders in Dimapur may be forced to shut shops.
