The Karimganj police have arrested an illegal Bangladeshi migrant for trying to include his name in the final National Register of Citizens slated for publication on July 31.

The Bangladeshi national has been identified as Mashud Ahmed who was taking shelter in the house of Ainuddin.

Both the individuals were hand in glove to prepare a false birth certificate. However, the duo possessing incriminating documents landed in cop net.
