Assam: HSLC, HS board exams begins, students nervous & excited

Exams for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC), Assam High Madrassa (AHM), and Higher Secondary (HS) final examination 2022 started in offline format today in the state.

Outside one of the examination centres this morning, Northeast Live caught up with some of them.

The students sounded both excited and nervous about their prospects.

Exams are being held in two shifts, morning from 9 am to 11 am, and in the afternoon from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

A total of 4 lakh 31 thousand and 1 hundred 32 students are appearing for the HSLC and High Madrassa examinations which are being held in 903 centres across the state.

Similarly, around 2 lakh 15 thousand and 22 students will be appearing for the higher secondary examinations in 796 centres.
