The Centre and Assam government today signed a tripartite peace accord with 8 Adivasi militant outfits of Assam in New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah,Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma were present on the occasion. HM shah called it a historic day for Assam and Northeast.
