Bharatiya Janata Party topgun Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that the saffron party will not ally with the Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) in the 2021 Assembly elections in Assam.
Addressing a rally ahead of the elections in Kokrajhar on Tuesday, Sarma while continuing his tirade against the BPF Chief Hagrama Mohilary said the BJP will not have any ties with the BPF in the ensuing assembly polls in the state.
Alleging large-scale corruption under the BPF rule, Sarma said that it is time up for the Hagrama Mohilary-led party.
Sarma also alleged that under Hagrama’s rule, people had to pay bribe for everything in the BTAD.
