A rare Himalayan black bear was spotted in Northern Sikkim. A video has gone viral where a passing car spotted the rare black bear roaming on the side of the highway. The bear, which was spotted near the B2 Bridge in North Sikkim, is suspected to be roaming close to human habitat. Residents of Tingda and Shotak villages have been urged to remain vigilant following the sighting of the bear as a potential bear attack can prove fatal.
