Assam’s Hima Das has come out with flying colours at the National Athletics Championship.

Hima bagged the gold medal at the 400 metres race by zooming past Nirmala Sharon of Hyderabad. Earlier, Hima had also won a gold medal at the 200 metres race.

Currently, this puts Hima with two gold medals at the tournament. Hima’s outstanding performance puts more confidence for her upcoming stint at the Asian Games later this year.
